The REUSE Company is a Spanish SME with over 19 years of experience in the fields of software and system artifacts reuse, requirements engineering, verification & validation and knowledge management. REUSE is commercializing the knowledge-centric solutions to cover the whole lifecycle of systems engineering through a complete suite to manage the quality, authoring and knowledge of any system artifact.
The REUSE Company is an organization specialized in the application of Semantic Representation and Analysis Technologies to a wide range of industries (Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Naval, Health, Industrial machinery…). Our customers are usually (but not limited to) safety oriented organizations.
Our main focus is on System/Software Reuse, Traceability and Quality applied to all types of work-products throughout the whole SE lifecycle (requirements, SysML Models, physical models, tests cases, data results, manuals, natural language descriptions, fault trees,etc).
The integration of tools and technology from The REUSE Company facilitates the representation, analysis and exploitation of knowledge allowing for a knowledge-centric systems engineering approach.
Our mission is to promote system/software and knowledge reuse within any organization, by offering processes, methods, tools and services that make it possible. We offer technology that is fully integrated within the organization’s production chain.
REUSE provides its experience in requirements engineering, V&V, model-based systems engineering, quality, interoperability, artificial intelligence, knowledge management, information retrieval and traceability. REUSE also contributes its suite of tools based on semantics as background of the project to adapt, enhance and integrate them in the system backbone through interoperable services based on the exploitation of knowledge and offering a complete smart authoring and testing environments based on the reuse for system artefacts and any other asset generated during the development lifecycle.
In addition, artificial intelligence techniques will be used to support and drive the testing process of hardware-based systems. In the same manner, previous experience and tools are provided for the proper development of the verification and validation processes focusing on quality and traceability management as method to ease these relevant processes.
The effort of REUSE will be mainly focused in definition and implementation of the following tasks:
- Integrate AI and ML methods in design and development processes. In this task, REUSE will include new AI/ML based methods and metrics in its current suite of tools (RAT – Authoring Toool and RQA)
- Implement AI driven models to minimize reliability risks along the whole value chain. In this task, REUSE will apply and extend of its current tool, the Verification Studio, to support a real time smart digital twin testing environment based on the requirements definition and the status of development
REUSE will use artificial intelligence techniques to support and drive the testing process of hardware-based systems, and furthermore, REUSE will actively participate in other project-related tasks such as the requirements definition, implementation, verification and validation of industrial pilots and will also contribute to disseminate industry-oriented publications and presentations and involving in standardization activities at INCOSE and OMG.
